Come and join me and my amazing team for a long weekend of nourishment!

This weekend is all about you!  Come and take time out in nature to let your body, mind and soul relax and be nourished so you return home with a renewed energy.

The Bala Brook centre is an amazing country house situated in Dartmoor National Park and on the edge of the open moor. There are thirty five acres of delightful gardens, fields, mature oak trees and woodland adjoining the waterfalls of Bala Brook, which tumbles down to join the river Avon. It is the perfect place to ‘get away from it all’ and explore the nature around you.

This retreat is open to anyone who has an interest in natural health and would like to expand their knowledge and spend time with like minded souls.  The aim of the weekend is to allow you to have deep rest and reconnect to what is important in your life in a safe and nurtured environment – so you can participate as much or as little as you want, knowing that there is no pressure upon you.

Between Mel and I we will be providing you with a range of delicious nutritious meals – we aim to nourish your cells with fresh organic food designed to support and heal your digestive system, giving you energy and clearing your mind.

This year we would like to have you in the kitchen to see how easy it really can be to cook up a nourishing meal, or to make a batch of sauerkraut or a quick healthy snack – so some hands on experience for all of you should you so wish it!

To go with the ‘open’ kitchen I will be holding some workshop sessions for nutrition and how to incorporate this into your daily life with tips on dealing with stress, hormones and more.

Clare will be holding the space the light and airy yoga room in the mornings and late afternoon, providing you with rejuvenating Hatha yoga, yoga nidra and meditation.  Clare trained in India with the Sivananda Vedanta Centre in 2013 and her style is dynamic yet gentle.  Taking a holistic approach her teaching focuses not only on traditional postures but also breathing, deep relaxation and meditation. She is interested in working with the therapeutic aspect of yoga and the practices she will be sharing will guide you in reconnect with the subtleties of your body and mind, allowing you to becoming fully present and aware. Working towards balance and equanimity on the mat can help bring about similar qualities in everyday life.

Prices are inclusive of all food, drinks, yoga, meditation and workshops.

There will be the opportunity to book a massage with my good friend and colleague Philippa Raney.  Philippa has an amazing background and training in holistic body work and a 1 1/2 hour full body massage is an amazing treat to include into your weekend.

This Wellness weekend is limited to 10 places – so to hold your spot, you just need to pay a £150.00 deposit with the final payment due 8 weeks before.
